1. Images are processed in your browser

Every image you open in the humanizer or the metadata checker is read from your disk into your browser's memory, processed there with the Canvas API, and written back out as a download. There is no upload step. Your image is never uploaded to our servers, never uploaded to any third party, and never used to train any model — ours or anyone else's. We could not do those things if we wanted to, because the file never reaches us.

This also means the tools keep working when you are offline, and that you can process confidential material without asking anyone's permission. Nothing about the file — not its bytes, not its name, not its metadata — is transmitted anywhere.

2. What we do not collect

We do not have accounts, so we do not collect names, email addresses or passwords. We do not receive your images, your file names, your EXIF data or the reports the checker produces. There is no server-side processing of any kind, and no image-processing API behind the site.

3. What is stored, and where

One thing is stored, and it stays on your device: your slider preferences — the grain intensity and the JPEG quality — are saved in your browser's local storage so the tool remembers them next time. You can clear them at any time by clearing site data for this domain, and the tool will simply fall back to its defaults. Nothing else is persisted: results, reports and file contents are discarded when you reset the tool or close the tab.

4. Advertising and cookies

This site is supported by advertising. If and when advertising is enabled, it may be served by Google AdSense, which can use cookies or similar technologies to select and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted by law. Those cookies are set by the advertising provider, not by us, and their use is governed by that provider's own privacy policy. You can control personalised advertising through your Google account settings or your browser's cookie controls.

Advertising scripts are never given access to your image, your file name or anything derived from them. Ads on this site never appear next to, or inside, the processing tools — they are placed in clearly labelled spaces with the word “Advertisement” visible.
