1. What this service is
AI Humanize Image provides browser-based tools for image texture and file metadata: a humanizer that strips identifying metadata from a JPEG or PNG, adds sensor noise and film grain, and re-compresses the result; and a checker that reports the metadata and provenance markers a file contains. Both tools run entirely in your browser. There is no account, no server-side processing and no stored copy of anything you process.
2. Acceptable use
You may use these tools on any image you have the right to edit, for any lawful purpose — including restoring texture to your own generated artwork, preparing files for a client, or checking the provenance of a file you have received. You are responsible for holding the rights to the images you process and for complying with the terms of any platform you publish them on.
Prohibited uses. You may not use this service to:
- present a generated or edited image as a documentary photograph of a real event;
- create false evidence for legal, insurance, journalistic, academic or official purposes;
- mislead anyone for financial gain, or in connection with fraud or deception of any kind;
- impersonate a person, or misrepresent the origin of an image in a way that harms someone;
- break any applicable law or the rules of any platform you publish on.
3. What the tools do not do
The humanizer removes metadata; it does not write it. We do not insert invented camera models, timestamps, locations or authorship records into files, and no feature of this site is intended to fabricate provenance. We also make no claim about how any detector will score a file after processing: detection depends on signals we do not control and on models that are retrained constantly.
The checker reports observations, not conclusions. Its completeness figure and feature list describe what the file contains — they are not a statement that an image is or is not generated, and they are not a substitute for legal advice, editorial verification or professional forensic analysis.
4. No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the tools will be uninterrupted or error-free, that output will meet any particular standard, or that a processed file will behave identically in every application. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service or from decisions you take based on its output.
5. Intellectual property and changes
You keep all rights to the images you process — we claim none, and we never receive them. The site itself, including its text, design and code, belongs to us. We may update these terms as the service changes; the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
